STANDARD LANGUAGE COURSES
Whether you are a complete beginner or simply wish to brush up on your Spanish a Standard Language Course at any of Egyptian American Centers' branches is bound to meet your requirements.
The programs used in the actual sessions of the different languages are generally structured along the same lines, focusing on three main aspects:
• grammar and vocabulary activities and exercises
• reading, text comprehension, listening and writing
• conversation
Generally, the greatest emphasis is placed on the conversational aspect, as the main aim of learning a language is communication.
Class topics are generally based on current articles from local newspapers and magazines which are picked out depending on level, so they can be discussed by the students. An effort is made to include current events and cultural topics so as to make the learning experience not only a comprehensive and interesting one, but also an entertaining and pleasant experience.
